Anna Nicole Smith, and her son Daniel, who passed away in September, 2006 because of a drug overdose. They seem to have found each other now, again.
2007-02-09 06:48:34 - Anna Nicole Smith, dead at 39. After her tragic loss, just five months ago, Anna Nicole Smith, followed her son Daniel into death.
The authopsy report has not been released yet, but we all can be sure, that Anna Nicole, has killed herself--literally in front of all of us.
We watched her, almost daily now. And she became so familiar, to all of us, because she was a fighter, and she always did, what she wanted -- no matter what.

Death surrounded Anna Nicole Smith, yet she tried to escape it. She would marry her boyfriend and lawyer Howard Stern, in a marriage ceremony in the Bahamas, while her son wasn't burried yet. This action puzzeled me the most. I was an Anna Nicole Smith supporter. Always. Until then. When my friends would make fun of her,

I would defend her and tell them, what they did not know what I knew about Anna Nicole. Details, that were not known to most of the yellow press lovers. For example, that Anna Nicole tried to "check out" many years ago, 13, to be exact. While she was staying in Marilyn Monroe's Spanish Hacienda in Brentwood. I visited Marilyn's home in 1996, thirty four years after Marilyn's successful suicide and three years after Anna Nicole's suicide attempt. blog.ourmarilyn.com/
I started to "turn" on Anna Nicole, the strange "bird of paradise" who faught so brave in court and for what she claimed and believed to deserve. Even the Bush administration supported her in that fight. Her opponent in her lawsuit, E. Pierce Marshall III, the son of her ex husband, died last year, on June 20, 2006 at age 67. Death surrounded Anna Nicole Smith, three months, before her sons shocking passing.
But Anna Nicole made plans. She always did. She would not give up -- officially, that is.
What is life all about? She certainly must have asked herself this question, after she had her Surpreme Court triumph, and friends who celebrated her. She would be part of a parade of the West Hollywood gay pride. She would become her own parody. A loved one, too. She would throw kisses into the crowd, like she has seen Marilyn Monroe doing it -- in many documentuaries. She wanted to be Marilyn Monroe. Always.
In 1926, one of the biggest stars and sex symbols of the last century died. Rudolf Valentino would have many followers who commited suicide over the news of his early death. He was only 31 when he died, and the world was in shock. A few months before Valentino died, another--one of the biggest legends of all time, was born. The little girl would later be known as Marilyn Monroe.
She still has many many admirers. Anna Nicole Smith was also one of those admirers. She would watch Monroe's movies and start to walk and talk and act like Marilyn in private. She was not alone. Even today, on the tragic day of Anna Nicole's death, I received two Google alerts, that talk about two Marilyn want to be's: Lindsay Lohan, who just purchased an apartment in which Marilyn lived at some point (she moved around in Los Angeles, like a Normad), and Jessica Simpson, who explained the (new) color of her hair: "Norma Jeane red." Aha. Now we know. Lohan was said to have taken a "break" of her rehab program, and "partied all weekend at a club in Hollywood." Strange rehab, I admit. But: they are still so young....and they still will be able to get their addictions under control! Really? Will they? Life and time will tell, indeed. But what is the fascination of all these starlets and singers, like Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and numerous other?! Do they want to die young, like or even before Marilyn's age at the time of her death. Which was sadly only 36. Anna Nicole Smith made it three more years, she died at only 39.
For me personally, Anna Nicole Smith did not resemble Marilyn Monroe, but another Hollywood star, but more though another tragic one: Jayne Mansfield. Cause Jayne was also a Playboy centerfold and she had a much bigger bussom than Marilyn Monroe. And Jayne also died very tragically at the early age of only 34. Jayne always and her entire life also tried to copy Marilyn Monroe. Just like Anna Nicole, they would never quite get close to the original. They would turn their "Marilynism" unwanted into a farce. But people liked it anyhow and they applauded.
But more than anything else, Anna Nicole Smith's death should be proof for us, what really happened to Marilyn Monroe. She was literally left to die--and people would watch her. Hugh Hefner made sure immediately after the news broke, that everybody would know on how many Playboy covers Anna Nicole was featured (4). I learned about her death while having CNN headline news in the background, I could not believe it, and it was almost and instantly a deja vu feeling, like 10 years ago, when I was at a wedding party, and we learned, that Princess Diana had a crash, and died a bit later. Back then I thought that this must it have been, when the news spread about Marilyn Monroe's death. You will forever remember where you were that moment, and what you did. How do you measure the status of a celebrity? By the awards they got? By the news they made? Good or bad?! When Marilyn Monroe was fired by her own studio and on top of that sued, it must have caused a shocking reaction inside the sensitive moviestar and foster child. In Monroe's last interview, which lasted hours, the phone would hardly ring. People did not care for Marilyn Monroe. She was hated. But that would change, as soon as she was dead. People could not believe it. This is what I felt today, that this time, Anna Nicole could not take it any longer. She succeeded. She did it. No matter why exactly. She has killed herself in front of all of our eyes, and we would let it happen. People love to put others up, and almost immediately take them down and step on them!
Just yesterday on CNN I remember hearing a report about a lawsuit from three women, who wanted to sue Anna Nicole Smith, for the Trimspa commercials and these women claim, that they were pranked. Get a life! Now what? Continue to sue--a corpus?
Despite my heavy preperations for a lawsuit on May 7, in which I am named as the expert witness, which is for the defense of Marilyn Monroe--in terms of the biggest Marilyn Monroe exhibit fraud, I caught myself, following the live reportings from Hollywood, Florida. It really got me, that she has left us now for good. No more kisses, blown into the camera from the voluptious blonde. When I visited LA, for the first time, in 1993, I saw Anna Nicole, on a huge billoard for Guess? on the top of the famous Beverly Center shopping complex. Yes, there she did indeed look a lot like Marilyn. But now her own ex-manager David Granoff made a sad comment in the news: "Anna Nicole had no sparks anymore." He also claims that he saw that coming....but why not try to help then?
Resemblance to Marilyn Monroe? Yes and no, but what struck me more is, that today, exactly 44 1/2 years ago, Marilyn Monroe, was laid to rest. (August 8, 1962). Did we all really try hard enough, to help this woman, who was such a fighter, such an inspiration. Cause she contined fighting in court, until she succeeded. www.MMFraud.com
I don't have to be a "psychic," to predict, that there soon will be Anna Nicole Smith dolls, mugs, possibly plates and purses. Former Marilyn Monroe estate lawyer Roger B. Richman stated in an interview about Mark Roesler, that he is calling the family of his future clients, while the body is still warm. And since Roesler had Anna Nicole Smith as a guest at some party a few years ago, this might just "go with Marily Roesler's territory," again.
Money, all those multi millions of dollars, they would not, they could not save Anna Nicole Smith from her tragic end. We all must see this as a warning--talk to Lindsay, Jessica, and all the young starlets who do not want to realize that Marilyn Monroe, wasn't "murdered by the Kennedy's" or whoever else is there to fit into this myth. It was us, all of us -- who killed Marilyn Monroe and Anna Nicole Smith. Cause we simply did not care. We let these beautiful women die, without even trying to stop them. History has just repeated itself, unfortunately. I met Anna Nicole Smith several times, and she always had a smile. You could never all her a bit*ch at all. She made fun of herself. That was the refreshing part of her humor.
I watched only one episode of Anna Nicole Smith's "reality show" on E!. What I found unbelievable, but very sadly it must have been true, is, that while being in NYC for an event, she mentions to a guy who wants to go out on a date with her, that she hardly is being asked out. Fame isolates very obviously. Rest in Peace, Anna Nicole. You won't be forgotten--too many people who you have moved and entertained with your directness.
You might not have become Marilyn Monroe, but you succeeded so wonderfully to become and to be: Our Anna Nicole Smith!
