On February 6, 2006, a simple but very detailed blog article was released by blogcritics.org and now has already made history.
It is by far the most successful blog that was ever written and published in the history of blogging, as it really created a sensation and stopped a crime from speading around the world.

Without a doubt Mark Bellinghaus has managed to become the world's leading expert on Marilyn Monroe. He is the number one authority on the biggest American movie legend. He worked with Christie's auction house in NYC, he is a guest lecturer on Marilyn Monroe at USC in Los Angeles, and he won the biggest battle of
his life already. The fight to protect Marilyn Monroe's legacy, as the famous, the media fooling 'Marilyn Monroe--the exhibit' was closed and never ever toured anywhere else.
He exposed fraud after fraud and saved thousands of collectors and fans the disappointment of losing their money to some fakes sellers.
The people behind the exhibit literally gave up and are now awaiting a lawsuit that will take place in Los Angeles, on May 7, 2007.
The man behind this tremendous success: Mark Bellinghaus.
I was present myself, when Mr. Bellinghaus walked with two journalists in tow through the Queen Mary exhibition that opened to the press on November 10, 2005. One year later and after thousands of hours of unpaid investigation, 15 hour days and endless phone calls, the result is visible. There will not be a touring Robert Otto collection and the only one who has gotten away from this spectacle so far is June Alpino, aka 'June DiMaggio.' An 'obviously lifelong closet lesbian and failed actress, who really tried to feed off Marilyn Monroe's fame,' as Bellinghaus discribes her. 'She dedicates this piece of s**t book to her Barbie, which was her lover; Barbara Klein must be spinning wherever she tries to rest!'
She self published her 'memoir,' which is 'provable false and absurd fiction,' as he adds.
It was really produced by an infomercial actress named Mary Jane Popp and her partner Erick Sprunger, who paid for the self published try a la James Frey. Kenneth Knoll, the manager of this hoax book project attacked Mark Bellinghaus on his blog viciously and under the anonymous name 'mj&m fan.' But without any success. The Monroe authority's credibility grew over the months, as he discovered one piece of evidence after the other, and shared those findings with his followers and interested Marilyn Monroe fans.
Mr. Bellinghaus created controvercy and set an example, when he purchased the domain names of the main players in the game that was called exhibit fraud. He discovered that Mark Rosler, famous lawyer and expert witness in the OJ Simpson trial

But for saving fatal errors that could have happened to the icon's history, for that I bow in front of Mark Bellinghaus, who has moved an entire world of fraud out of our sight. With his knowledge, his passion and his very noble cause. He will be forever be remembered for stepping up for Marilyn Monroe, when there was nobody else around, me included. My only excuse is, that I did not have Mr. Bellinghaus' knowledge and expertise, but naturally felt that there was something more than wrong, when I looked at the claimed underpants of the star, that were simply marked with her name written with a modern Sharpie pencil.
The blog that Bellinghaus used as his only outlet that was available at the time, is now an often stated phenomenon, that one sigle person still can make a difference, if there is enough passion and enthusiasm involved. Marilyn Monroe certainly would be proud of her biggest admirer and defender.There is no doubt in my mind about that.
