FINDLAY, Ohio, Feb. 1, 2013 - On Wednesday, Feb. 6, Marathon Petroleum
Corporation's (NYSE: MPC) President and CEO Gary R. Heminger will deliver a
presentation to investors and industry analysts at the Credit Suisse 2013 Energy
Summit in Vail, Colo.

Heminger's presentation is scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m. MST (1:45 p.m.
