Maguire Properties Corrects Erroneous Media Report

Maguire Properties, Inc. (NYSE: MPG), a Southern California-focused real estate investment trust, stated that the $165 million loan originated on 550 South Hope, a 28-story office property in downtown Los Angeles is current contrary to what appeared today in a media report.


The loan was originated by RBS Greenwich Capital in April 2007 when the Company acquired the

downtown property as part of the Blackstone/Equity Office Properties Southern California portfolio acquisition.
