‘toggle mobile’, a service designed by Lycamobile to save up to 90% on roaming calls, wins the ‘Innovative Service’ award at The Mobile News awards 2012 ceremony.
The largest event in the mobile industry calendar The Mobile News Awards 2012 presented ‘toggle mobile’ with the award for best ‘Innovative Service’ of the year. The Mobile News Awards recognises organisations in the mobile industry that have maintained their edge, pushed boundaries and excelled in quality. ‘toggle mobile’ scored the highest number of points for the most innovative service solution that will move the mobile industry forward. Lycamobile’s Executive Vice President Chris Tooley attended the award ceremony at the London’s Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, and accepted the well-regarded award on behalf of ‘toggle mobile’.
‘toggle mobile’ is an innovation from Lycamobile and its partner Plintron Technologies. The prepaid SIM card service is designed to provide customers with up to a
90% cost saving on roaming charges for data, voice and SMS services. Customers are able to travel throughout the toggle network of countries; UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, Australia, Poland, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark without incurring roaming charges. The roaming solution provides customers with one single rate for calls, SMS and data when travelling to any of the ‘toggle mobile’ network countries.
