2013-02-27 17:06:07 - OB-View, the Digisonics OB PACS & Structured Reporting Solution, will be installed at Loyola University Health System for their OB ultrasound and GYN studies.

Loyola University Health System in Maywood, Ill., recently selected the Digisonics PACS and Structured Reporting Solution for their OB ultrasound and GYN studies.

OB-View, the Digisonics OB PACS and structured reporting system, will provide users with access to high performance image review, comprehensive fetal growth analysis, professional reporting capabilities and a single clinical database for their OB/GYN studies. Full remote reading capabilities will be available via OB-View Net, a web-based application that provides secure access to the entire OB/GYN PACS and structured reporting system.

An added interface with Philips QLAB will provide clinicians with access to 3D/4D image manipulation and analysis. A single click on the Digisonics workstation launches the Philips QLAB software directly for analysis, with the post processed images stored

as AVI or DICOM files back into the Digisonics system or other PACS systems for further review or long-term archiving.

HL7 interfaces for Orders In and Results Out will create a fully electronic workflow between Digisonics and the hospital’s EPIC system. DICOM Modality Worklist and OBLink modules will automate transfer of patient biometry to and from the facility’s Philips ultrasound machines with the Digisonics OB/GYN Structured Reporting System, significantly reducing manual data entry time.
