Over the first three quarters, LogLogic closed large enterprise deals with Amica Mutual Insurance, The Body Shop International PLC, MGIC Investment Corporation, the U.S. Department of Defense's Washington Headquarters Services, U.S. Forces Japan and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The company simultaneously quadrupled its customer base in the mid-market sector.
LogLogic continues to grow at double the industry average, acquiring more than 150 new customers this year in retail, health care, financial services, telecom, aerospace and defense,
pharmaceutical and utilities industries. While security and compliance remain key drivers for customers who choose LogLogic, broader use cases such as troubleshooting, user activity monitoring and managing business operations in real-time enable customers to maximize their investment with LogLogic.
Enterprise-grade logging solutions for the mid-market
Earlier this year, LogLogic launched a new line of log management appliances tailored for mid-market SMBs facing strict industry security and compliance regulations, such as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). The company's MX line of mid-market log management appliances received a 5-star review from SC Magazine in July and has been adopted by several customers, including TRG Customer Solutions and Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY).
"We are using LogLogic's MX appliance to help us meet some of our regulatory requirements," said Larry Whiteside, Chief Information Security Officer for Visiting Nurse Service of NY, a not-for-profit company providing a wide range of home health care services to more than 115,000 patients throughout New York City, Nassau and Westchester. "We needed a well-priced and easy-to-implement solution to meet our universal log processing needs - LogLogic was the only choice and does a phenomenal job for us."
"The MX product from LogLogic has opened the opportunity for us to offer a turnkey compliance solution to our customers at a more affordable price in the competitive mid-market," said Kevin Lynch, Director of Technical Services at CNI, a premier reseller and integrator of networking solutions and services. "We offer the MX as an appliance as well as a managed service solution, providing additional flexibility for selecting a logging solution that grows and scales with each client's network."
Continued international expansion
After growing into EMEA in Q2 with new offices in France and Germany, LogLogic broadened its global reach in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region with a new office in Japan. With PCI DSS on the rise amongst systems integrators in Japan, LogLogic released LogLogic 4.2i, a localized version of its enterprise-class LX-ST appliance tailored for J-SOX and PCI in Japan. The company signed key resellers, including Network Value Components, Ltd. (NVC) and Kanematsu Electronics, Ltd. (KEL) in Japan, as well as nForce in Thailand and e-Guardian in Singapore. Due to immediate demand, KEL also announced sales and support for the mid-range MX 2010 and the LG400 Lasso Gateway appliance for use with Windows Server.
Expanding internationally has enabled LogLogic to serve customers around the world for best-in-class security and compliance. For example, after working with LogLogic to meet PCI DSS compliance before the U.S. deadline, The Body Shop International PLC will now use LogLogic in the UK, EMEA and APAC.
Strategic growth outpacing the industry average
In 2008, LogLogic's revenue growth continues to outpace the industry average. LogLogic signed integral partnerships with Sun Microsystems and VMware, optimizing its enterprise-grade LX-ST log management appliance for managed security services, identity management, and log collection in virtualized environments. The company was also named one of Computer Reseller News' (CRN) "Emerging Tech Vendors" and joined the PCI Security Standards Council.
"Beyond security information and event management, our customers seek real-time intelligence and analysis of network traffic and user activity monitoring to improve their business operations and meet industry compliance," said Pat Sueltz, CEO of LogLogic. "The market for log management has remained steady this year as we are seeing new opportunities amongst large enterprises in Europe and Asia as well as mid-market companies."
