PHOENIX, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 04/01/10 -- This Saturday, April 3rd, the organization AZ-Compassion-in-Action will be conducting a drive for the underprivileged children of the community. There will be two locations that will host representatives from the Phoenix Fire Department, who will lead the collection and distribution of Easter Baskets and candy to underprivileged children.





AZ-Compassion-in-Action has been coordinating with school and local community organizations to conduct drives for candy and items to put in the baskets. Everest Self Storage has offered a prize to the organization that brings in the most. Everyone is encouraged to stop by one of these two locations to drop off their contribution. The locations are as follows:

In addition to candy and Easter Baskets AZ-Compassion-in-Action accepts donations of food, clothing and household goods that help families recover after a devastating event like a fire. Donations of this nature are also encouraged at these sites. Stop by this Saturday from 9am to 2pm and meet the fire fighters who work so hard in our community. Look for the Fire Engines!
