This is to Announce that, Due to the Resent Resignation & Vacancy left on the City of Delray Beach Commission by Vice Mayor Brenda Montague, Mark J. Behar-40, A Permanent Resident, Rental Property & Small Business Owner of Delray Beach, is submitting his Resume & Letter of Introduction for Consideration for the Newly Vacate City Commissioners Seat.
Mr.
Behar, has been a Member of the Cities Code Enforcement-Hearing Board since 2003, and for the last 3-Years has been the Boards Co/Vice-Chair. He also is a Political Activist & Severs on Several Advisory Boards, Commissions, Committee's & Councils in Washington, DC regarding Tax Reforms & Tax Breaks for Small Business Owners Nationwide.
Mark Just came back from Washington DC., where he was presented with the NRCC "Congressional Medal of Distinction" at a special ceremony as he was in the Nations Capitol, and as he was attending "The President's Dinner". Several other party leaders and Members of Congress from both the House & Senate side were there, and in attendance as well.
Also while he was in Wash DC., Mark was asked to speak at the National Association of Realtors, regarding his views and opinions on the state of the economy, and the Real Estate & Rental Markets, as it related to South Palm Beach County, FL.
He also was at the Senate Building to meet with South Florida-Senator Mel Martinez, and was even invited to attend and sit in on a Senate Session.
Mark's Future Ambitions & Goals are to one day run for Florida State Rep. & He even has his sighs set on, and to eventually one day becoming Congressman or even Senator Behar-Rep. His Local District.
The Current Commissioners will rank the top three candidates and appoint someone to the post at the Aug. 5 commission meeting. The appointee will serve until the March 2009 election.
