Linda A. Marvin Joins Allegiant Travel Company Board of Directors
LAS VEGAS. (January 29, 2013) - Allegiant Travel Company (NASDAQ: ALGT) has
announced that Linda A. Marvin has been elected to the Allegiant Travel
Company's Board of Directors. Ms. Marvin had previously served as Allegiant's
Chief Financial Officer from September 2001 to September 2007.
"Linda played an integral role in the early days of Allegiant and helped lay
the foundation for the successful business we have today," said Maurice J.
Gallagher, Jr., Chairman and CEO of Allegiant Travel Company. "We are very
fortunate to have Linda's expertise back at Allegiant as a member of our board."
From 1996 through 2001, Ms. Marvin held various management positions for Mpower
Communications, including chief financial officer and senior vice president of
finance. Prior to that,
she was involved in the airline industry in various
finance and accounting roles with Business Express/Delta Connection and with
WestAir/United Express and earlier in her career, served an audit manager with
KPMG Peat Marwick. She currently serves as treasurer of The Animal Foundation
and has been elected as its chairman effective February 1, 2013. She is also an
active member of the United Way's Women's Leadership Council.
