2014-02-17 10:57:25 - Learnnovators, a leading e-learning company in India, has Charles Jennings, Managing Director of Duntroon Associates and the Founder of the 70:20:10 Forum, as the guest in the latest edition of “Crystal Balling with Learnnovators” - their thought-provoking interview series that attempts to gaze into the future of learning.

Charles is a leading thinker, practitioner and consultant in the areas of performance improvement, change management, and learning. From 2002 until the end of 2008 Charles was the Chief Learning Officer for Reuters and Thomson Reuters where he had responsibility for developing the global learning and performance strategy and leading the learning organisation for the firm’s 55,000 workforce.

Charles has deep experience in both the business and learning practitioner sides of performance improvement and effective learning solutions. He also knows 'what works' in the world of strategic talent. His career includes roles as head of the UK National Centre for Networked Learning, as a professor at Southampton Business School, in senior business roles for global companies, and as an evaluator for the European Commission’s

learning, performance and eCommerce research initiatives.

He also sits on steering groups and advisory boards for national and international industry and professional bodies. He is also a Senior Advisor to the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development). Charles has an impeccable record of developing and implementing leading-edge performance solutions spanning more than 35 years.

In this exclusive interview with Learnnovators, Charles Jennings shares his insights on the significance of the 70:20:10 Model for organizational development in today’s world. He also shares his advice to learning designers on the techniques to scale up to meet the challenges of designing learning interventions for this informal and social learning age. Equally valuable is his advice to Chief Learning Officers (CLOs) who wish to implement the 70:20:10 Model in their organizations! Charles’ foresights on the future of organizational learning are truly thought provoking. “The 70:20:10 model is a deceptively simple and powerful concept. However, implementation can sometimes be a devilish complex process. That is one of the main reasons I established the 70:20:10 Forum in 2013.” was Charles’ reflection on the significance of the 70:20:10 Forum in today’s world of informal and social learning.

According to Ravi Pratap Singh, Co-founder of Learnnovators, “We are greatly honoured to have Charles as our guest in our interview series today. This interview will help the learning community benefit from the valuable foresights that Charles shares about the future of organizational learning.”
