(Caerphilly, UK, 4 June 2008) - Formerly part of Barloworld Scientific, Sterilin Limited is a newly formed independent business, specialising in the manufacture of single use laboratory

plastics. Having adopted the name of its market leading brand Sterilin, this newly formed company will comprise of four established product brands:
Sterilin single use plastics; Iwaki tissue culture products; Sterilin Silicone Devices (formerly Esco Silicone Rubber); Sterilin Packaging Products (formerly Azlon Packaging).

As an established leader in single use laboratory plastics, the Sterilin brand has been setting world standards for quality, reliability and user safety for more than 40 years. The newly formed Sterilin Limited offers a wide range of products for the pharmaceutical, clinical and healthcare, food, forensics and industrial packaging industries. All Sterilin products are manufactured at the company's ISO 9001:2000 accredited plant in South Wales, UK, where a commitment to continuous product development and investment in injection moulding technology, clean room and microbiological research facilities ensures that every item is made to the highest possible quality.
