It was a beautiful Monday morning the 18th of August 2008 as the famed morning show duo celebrated a big one. JJ King and Melanie Martin celebrated their first anniversary at Fran's restaurant downtown on Victoria and Shuter. Lexi and famed rapper Kid Famous were on hand as HipHossip Kid Reporter KJ became their instant pal! Lexi introduced KJ to JJ and Melanie and he even met Wayne Williams the Program Director. The young seven-year-old presented a blog poster to them chronicling their past year. Fans got to watch them as they did their show live. Some construction men in a truck were watching from outside and they decided they wanted to wish Melaanie personally. Some special celebrities stopped by including R&B singer Divine Brown.
