WOW Brows! Threading Salons is hosting a fundraising effort to benefit Pretty In Pink Foundation. During the month of March, a portion of each lash extension service fee generated in salons throughout the Triad will be donated to aid breast cancer patients. During the promotion extensions will be specially priced at $199, representing a $100 discount. Additionally, every Saturday “Champions” from Pretty In Pink undergoing cancer treatments will receive makeovers. During the weekend events, a customer will be selected to receive free lash extensions.

“We are very grateful to WOW Brows! for their continuing fundraising efforts,” said Dr. Lisa Tolnitch, founder of Pretty In Pink. “The demand for our services is always growing. The efforts of partners like WOW Brows! are

an important source of funding.”

Dr. Tolnitch, a breast cancer surgeon with Duke Cancer Institute, founded Pretty In Pink Foundation in 2004 as a vehicle for breast cancer patients who desperately needed care, treatment and surgery, but had no means of paying for services.

“We recognize the importance of the vital services provided by Pretty In Pink, and are very proud to help them in any way we can,” said WOW Brows! owner Bill Kaufeld.”We also recognize the morale boost a makeover can provide a cancer patient undergoing treatment.”

Lash extensions extend the length and thickness of natural eyelashes, and are a practical alternative to the daily use of mascara or traditional false eyelashes.
