Australian pop star KYLIE MINOGUE is reportedly devastated following her chauffeur and close pal's death from cancer.
The SPINNING AROUND star, who has successfully battled breast cancer, attended the London funeral of NIGEL McCARROLL earlier this week (begs31JUL06) after leaning on him for support during her illness.
McCarroll was the singer's driver for 10 years and Minogue laid a wreath in the shape of his favourite Audi car at the crematorium service.
Racing drivers JENSON BUTTON and JACQUES VILLENEUVE also paid their respects.
Minogue's friend tells British newspaper the News Of The World, "Kylie was devastated that the disease Nigel helped her fight took his life."
