September 10, 2008 - Los Angeles, CA - Kidzmusic.com, one of the premiere websites marketing and selling only children's music has lowered the price on all song downloads from a 'featured artist' by 20% during the period of time that the artist is being featured on Kidzmusic.com, John Wood, President and CEO announced today.

'Now that we're featuring a new artist

every week at Kidzmusic.com, we felt that it would be a good way for a parent to familiarize himself with an artist he/she might not be aware of, or songs by the artist unfamiliar to the parent', continued John.

The widely accepted practice of pricing a digital download, originally set up by Itunes, is $.99, but occasionally artists will reduce the price as a special incentive to a potential listener to become more familiar with the artist and thereby drawing more attention to the artist's live shows. 'Since children's artists are usually pre-screened by parents, it's more important than ever that the artist and their material is familiar to the parent', said Dan Crow, a partner in Kidzmusic.com and an internationally known children's artist in his own right.
