Nicole Richie's recent announcement that she is having baby number two with Good Charlotte's Joel Madden, just over a year after their first-born Harlow, has Hollywood
abuzz.

A surprised and enthusiastic Kathy Hilton told Hollyscoop.com, "Nicole is having another baby! She's like a third daughter to me. I found out at a party just a few minutes ago! It's always good to

balance it out with two. Hopefully it's a boy!"

The experienced Suzanne Somers advised, "The important thing is that if you choose to be a parent, then do that job well...if you don't do it well, you don't feel good about yourself."

Brooke Burns excitedly told Hollyscoop, "Good for her!" at the 'A Night to Make a Difference Oscar Viewing Night' at Mr. Chow in Los Angeles.

While Spice Girl, and mother of one, Mel B refrained from commenting saying, "I don't give advise to people; just enjoy yourself."

Meanwhile, Nicole's former BFF Paris Hilton talked to reporters this past weekend telling them how "excited" she is about the pregnancy news.

Motherhood certainly sits well with Nicole, she's done a 180 since giving birth to little Harlow back in January 2008. Can't wait to find out the sex of the boy!
