She’s on a successful TV show (When are they coming back, anyway?) Grey’s Anatomy, she has a budding movie career and she’s a newlywed. If that weren’t enough, it seems that Katherine is also environmentally conscious! We need more of Kat!

One of Katherine’s new favs is a pair of earrings that are made out of recycled wine bottles. The top

of the bottle is sliced off thinly, leaving a circle shape. The shape is melted down further, smoothed and hooked to the earring hardware. Walla! Cool earrings.

Katherine has a green pair, but the company, featured on delight.com also has brown ones made from beer bottles. The Eco Glam Wine Bottle earrings also have a matching necklace available, as do the beer bottle pair.

It seems whatever Katherine touches turns to gold lately. The earring company can’t keep up with production since she revealed her duds. Is there any other product Kat wants to hawk?

Besides Grey’s, Heigl has a movie slated for 2009 called the Ugly Truth which is still in pre-production. She also spends time touring with her new hubby, Josh Kelly who is a singer and song writer.
