Students were recognized for earning diplomas in one of four programs in the allied health field. Kaplan College's Milwaukee campus held a graduation ceremony on Sunday, July 13, for 152 students. The ceremony took place at 3:00 p.m., at Hilton Milwaukee City Center, 509 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee.
Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study, many of which are in high demand throughout the state. According to the
Wisconsin Statewide Occupational Projections, Department of Workforce Development, Bureau of Workforce Development, dental assistant positions are expected to increase by 37 percent, medical assistant positions by 46 percent and pharmacy technicians by 24 percent from 2004 to 2014.
Kaplan College's Milwaukee campus is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Careers Schools and College of Technology (ACCSCT). ACCSCT is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education.
