John Robinson, M.D., Named Chief Medical Officer of Molina Healthcare of Washington

Molina Healthcare of Washington announced today that John Robinson, M.D., has been promoted from medical director to chief medical officer of its health plan, a subsidiary Molina Healthcare, Inc. (NYSE: MOH). In his new role, Dr. Robinson will be responsible for oversight of the Integrated Health Services, Quality Improvement, Credentialing and Pharmacy functions of the health plan.

Dr. Robinson is a board certified Family Practice physician and has over 26 years of medical experience. He previously held several leadership roles such as president of Utah HealthCare Institute, Director of Development at FHP in Utah and Associate Residency Director of Family Practice Residency in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Robinson obtained his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry at Gonzaga University in Spokane Washington, his Masters of Science degree in Health Care Management at the Harvard School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts and his Medical Degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Molina Healthcare of Washington has approximately 327,000 members enrolled in its health plan and serves members throughout the state of Washington.
