JLT Mobile Computers, developer of reliable computers for demanding
environments, today announced the VERSO-series - new fixed-mounted computers
that combine leading-edge performance with the highest reliability for tough
environments. Equipped with Intel Core i7 processors the new VERSO 12 and VERSO
15 computers fulfill a growing need for demanding applications in environments
that are often characterized by dust, moisture, vibrations, cold, and heat.  As
with all JLT computers, the VERSO computers can be used in many various fields,
but are specifically developed for the heavy-duty segment, such as mining and
construction machinery, off-shore and harbor applications, and agricultural
equipment.

Since its start, JLT has shipped more than 80,000 vehicle computers.  The VERSO
computers are the latest development of JLT's successful PC platform of
computers that are able to handle extreme environments.  Their   reliability has
been proven through many years of global field operations.  All critical
functions are integrated in the VERSO computers, which makes installation of the
computers in a vehicle both quick and easy.  The JLT VERSO series gives
customers access to leading-edge performance in a very rugged and reliable
computer.

Leading-edge performance
Equipped with a powerful Intel Core i7 processor and 64-bit Windows 7 operating
system, the VERSO computers can be used for such functions as video monitoring,
positioning calculations, presentation of complex data, and much else. The VERSO
computers are also available with an Intel Dual Core Atom D2550 processor and
are ready for Windows 8.

The computers are designed to withstand the harshest environments. They are dust
and water proof to the IP65 specification, features a 12" or 15" LED display
that is readable in direct sunlight. The standard models can be used in cold
storage rooms as well as in broiling hot sun, and with a built-in DC/DC power
supply and backup battery the computers handles voltage variations and
interruptions without stoppages. The computers also features integrated WiFi
802.11 a/b/g/n, 3G, and Bluetooth communication to ensure a reliable connection.

Available now
After evaluation and testing for several months by customers within the fields
of mining, construction, and offshore, the first VERSO computers are in
production and available now.  The VERSO computers can be ordered from JLT
resellers today.
As with all JLT computers, the VERSO computers can be purchased with a service
agreement, JLT:Care.  A JLT:Care agreement gives customers a guaranteed service
level at a pre-determined cost for up to five years.
