Jim Carrey says girlfriend Jenny McCarthy's son has taught him how to love. The Hollywood funnyman credits six-year-old Evan, who has autism, with allowing him to open up emotionally. Jim - who also has a daughter

Jane, 21, from a previous relationship - said: "Evan taught me how to love. And without Evan I might never have seen the greatness of Jenny's spirit." Yesterday (04.06.08), Jim and Jenny were joined by their children on a march through Washington D.C. to raise awareness of toxins in vaccines and to pressure for an alteration to the current vaccination schedule for children in the USA. Speaking about the 'Green Our Vaccines' march, Jim said: "Jenny's friends would kind of hint around and say, 'Hey, it would be kind of cool if you got involved in this,' and I thought to myself, 'This is just so inevitable. This just can't not happen. If you care about the planet and about children, you have to.' " Although not medically proven, Jenny claims Evan became autistic after having an MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) injection when he was 19 months old. She said: "It was like someone abducted my child. I'd had a child with a personality and then he was gone."
