RALEIGH, N.C. - Out of the entire city of Raleigh, ten residents were nominated to the task force. The nominees represent individuals who have served the Raleigh area throughout their careers. Funded by IBM grants, the Raleigh Communications Task Force’s goal is to brand Raleigh as a center of innovation and entreprenuership. The task force will meet regularly over three months and make recommendations to the City Council on a social media and communications strategy. The shared vision is for Raleigh to be recognized as one of the top five centers for innovation and entrepreneurship.
