Effective from January 1, 2013, Vacon's General Counsel Jaana Klinga has been
appointed Vacon Plc's Secretary to the Board. Vacon's present Secretary to the
Board, Stefan Wikman will continue in this role until December 31, 2012.

Vacon Plc's Board of Directors," says Mr Jan Inborr, Vacon Plc's Chairman of the
Board.

Jaana Klinga has been working as Vacon Plc's General Counsel since 2011.
