2008-10-01 13:57:08 - Bangkok, Thailand, (October 2, 2008) - Yozzo Co. Ltd, has launched Yozzo, a mobile social community with a difference.

Instead of developing a social community for different mobile standards and handsets like the iPhone or Google's Android, Yozzo has gone in a completely different direction and instead focused on normal users with the popular mobile internet browser Opera Mini on their mobile phones.

'We are normal users ourselves and we have kept that in mind throughout the whole development of

Yozzo. We wanted something that was easy to use but still had a lot of those nice features we know from the web', says Allan T. Rasmussen, Managing Director, Yozzo Co., ltd. - 'So we built a service that was accessible on both platforms'.

Besides the standard features of a social community Yozzo provides a comprehensive package of free services accessible via normal mobile phones; messaging, create, and share mobile content, news, weather reports, music search, blogging and more.

The launch of Yozzo comes with the introduction of Opera Mini in Thailand via the local mobile operator DTAC and Yozzo.com is a bookmark on the start page of the Opera Mini Thai version.

We are pleased to see DTAC and Opera Software introducing Opera Mini here in Thailand.
With 45 million mobile phone users in Thailand and only 10 million that have access to the internet it will defiantly be a useful tool for those without or limited internet access.

Thailand has been forecasted as the first country to have more mobile internet users than web users due to the demographic and already Yozzo have more users accessing their service via their mobile phone than via the web with 53 percent using Opera Mini.

The service is currently available in both Thai and English. Yozzo is currently in talks with other mobile operators in South East Asia about delivering localized versions.
