Salient Systems announces CompleteView Release 3.5 which includes enhanced video archiving features. Archiving will automatically move video between storage volumes on an ‘administrator-defined’ schedule.
Specific recording types such as external alarm, motion alarm and scheduled recordings can be separately archived for longer term storage of high priority events. Archived video is automatically available in CompleteView’s playback mode without user intervention. Full support for all of CompleteView’s investigation tools, such as Smart Search, is available for fast retrieval of video clips based on motion analysis in a designated scene. All video queuing and export functions are fully supported.

Included in this release of Salient’s video management software is full support for ArecontVision’s IP camera product line with emphasis on H.264 support.
