DENVER; Feb. 19, 2013 - Intrepid Potash Inc. (Intrepid) (NYSE:IPI) announced
that the Company will present at two upcoming investor conferences.

On Tuesday, February 26, 2013, the Company will present at the Goldman Sachs
Seventeenth Annual Agribusiness Conference at the Goldman Sachs Conference
Center in New York City.  The presentation will begin at 12:50 PM Eastern Time.

On Thursday, February 28, 2013, the Company will present at the Bank of America
Merrill Lynch 2013 Global Agriculture Conference at the St. Regis Bal Harbour in
Miami.  The presentation will begin at 10:30 AM Eastern Time.

Each presentation will be webcast live from the Company's website,
