Information Security Solutions Europe 2009 with 400 IT Security professionals from all over Europe Berlin / The Hague, 29.06.2009, For the biggest independent security conference in Europe TeleTrusT and eema expect over 400 participants. The international program committee chaired by TeleTrusT Deutschland e.V. has developed a
formidable program for the international Information Security Solutions Europe ISSE 2009: More than sixty experts from European and non-European institutions and companies will speak from October 6th to October 8th in The Hague about current topics within the Security of IT applications.
The presentations center on current IT Security requirements of managers. Topics are Identity Management, Economics of Security, Data Protection and Social Engineering, Large Scale Public Applications as well as new aspects such as Cloud Computing and Data Loss Prevention.
In addition to concrete case studies applications are presented and future scenarios are created. Highlights are the panel discussion "Multi State Information Sharing and Analysis" moderated by Howard Schmidt, the former White House Cyber Security Advisor, and the "Malware Challenge" moderated by the TeleTrusT Chairman of the Board, Professor Norbert Pohlmann. The event is traditionally closed by Professor Bart Preneel's (K.U. Leuven) crypto speech.
The conference speakers are Europe- and worldwide known researchers and experts from government institutions, notable companies and universities, such as Marc Sel, Director of PriceWaterhouseCoopers Belgium, and Gerry Gebel, Vice President of the Burton Group. At an exhibition companies and organizations additionally present current technologies.
ISSE is jointly organized by eema, the European Association for e-Identity and Security, and TeleTrusT Deutschland e.V. Patron of the conference is ENISA (European Network & Information Security Agency) and the Municipality of The Hague acts as the host for 2009.
Traditionally the TeleTrusT Innovation Award is awarded at ISSE. Until June 29th 2009 companies from all over Europe can apply for the price which honors innovative and trustworthy information technology.

About TeleTrusT Deutschland e.V.
The purpose of the non-profit organization TeleTrusT Deutschland e.V. is to create trustworthy and reliable conditions for the application of information- and communication technologies. Since its foundation in 1989 the association developed into a widely known and respected competence network for applied IT-Security in Germany and Europe. Today TeleTrusT represents more than 85 members from industry, science and research as well as administration.
In different project groups the members discuss current questions in IT-Security and Security Management and benefit from the mutual know-how exchange. The European Bridge CA, a project conducted by TeleTrusT, already provides more than 700.000 public-key-certificates of the associated participants for secure E-Mail communication in the Internet. With the T.I.S.P.-Certificate established by TeleTrusT experts are able to get an attestation of their profound knowledge in IT-Security.
TeleTrusT seeks and cultivates the cooperation with other organizations of similar aims.
