2013-11-03 08:59:16 - A recent survey of wound nurses using International Advanced Healing Group’s Health Outcomes operational platform reveals decline in acquired pressure ulcer rates.
Singapore – Singapore based IAHG (International Advanced Healing Group, Ltd.), and its wholly owned US-based subsidiary, AHI (Advanced Health Institute) are pleased to announce the findings of a recent survey conducted to determine the success of their Health Outcomes Operational Platform (HOOP) in treating and preventing acquired pressure ulcers.
The survey included hospitals and health care providers who have implemented HOOP, for a minimum of 1 year. The results of the survey revealed a dramatic decrease in the rates of acquired pressure ulcers.
According to International Advanced Healing Group’s Peter Schilling, “We believe that a measure of the success in these improved outcomes can be attributed to the improved interaction between the care providers and practitioners. HOOP allows for the creation of
comprehensive treatment strategies, which include captured visuals of each wound. Thanks to HOOP, this valuable information is more easily captured and shared as frequently as required.”
“Since using our HOOP software, all of the hospitals and health care providers surveyed reported a decline in the rates of acquired pressure ulcers. We have a reasonable expectation that, by continuing to implement HOOP, hospitals and care providers can expect to further reduce or eliminate avoidable acquired pressure ulcers,” said Mr. Schilling.
International Advanced Healing Group’s proprietary Health Outcomes Operational Platform is a complete wound management software that integrates technology, tools and proven process, based on optimal care practices. Handheld devices are used to capture comprehensive, precise information at the bedside; web-based, cloud-enabled technology is implemented to record and store the data in a protected database and make the information readily accessible to all caregivers in a functional format. HOOP software reinforces the implementation of optimum care protocols.
