2013-08-28 14:41:20 - Injaz is conducting a job fair titled “Career wellness Program,” which will take place in the offices of the All Jordanian Youth Commission (Youth Arm for King Abdullah Fund for Development) spread throughout the kingdom
. Additionally, career consultants drafted by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization will be taking part in the event to give support and sound guidance to job seekers. The strategic move reflects the high levels of cooperation between government organizations and the private sector to serve Jordanian citizens.
The program also welcomed all students interested in attending, giving them a clearer understanding of which field of work they would be most effective in. Over 2,000 individuals are set to attend the career fair, receiving counseling from Human Resources advisors that are affiliated with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization.
Fawaz Saleh, Director of Career Counseling, said, “We believe the program will reap positive results for young people as it strives to reduce the period it takes for
fresh graduates to get employed. It also helps them prepare for their first steps in employment by advising them on ways to deal with day-to-day matters.”
The All Jordanian Youth Commission’s Public Relations Coordinator, Amjad Al Karaman, said, “Our cooperation is due to the commission’s belief that our youth greatly influence Jordan’s labor and education sectors. We are alos hoping to integrate more women into Jordan’s workforce, as well as assisting them in launching their own startups around Jordan.”
