WASHINGTON, March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Of the 550 technology exhibitors at FOSE 2007, the largest gathering of government information and technology professionals, over 200 companies will showcase products and solutions designed to improve information security. Over 15,000 federal high tech buyers will attend FOSE 2007, March 20-22 at the Washington, DC Convention Center to learn about the latest innovations designed to protect information ranging from highly classified national intelligence, to corporate documents and personal data. Registration for FOSE 2007 is free for military, government, government contractors and

educators at http://www.fose.com/ or by calling 1-800-791-FOSE.

"Sensitive information that needs to be safeguarded is everywhere. It's on our computers, traveling through networks, and even in our fingerprints," said Bill Howell, vice president and General Manager of FOSE. "The need for products that guard our information is critical to us -- not only as a nation shielding our freedoms, but as individuals protecting our identities. FOSE will feature companies that can monitor, protect, destroy, and recover information -- from an individual's social security number to classified military documents -- and introduce them to the buyers who are in need of these vital technologies."

Here are a few of the leading companies that will highlight security products and solutions:

-- AirWave Wireless of San Mateo, California will feature the recently released AirWave Wireless Management System Version 5.0. New technologies make wireless access everywhere possible -- indoors and outdoors, in vast warehouses and small remote offices. These new 'Everywhere Networks' require the use of multiple wireless technologies and architectures, encompassing literally thousands of infrastructure devices. AirWave's Wireless Management System 5.0 lets IT departments centrally monitor all users, control, and secure the entire wireless network infrastructure from a single console no matter where the users are or how many facilities the networks cover. -- American Power Conversion (APC) of West Kingston, Rhode Island will exhibit its InfraStruXure(R) InRow(TM) RP, its new cooling unit for data centers and small computer rooms that helps increase the availability and reliability of IT systems, thus protecting the data within. The InfraStruXure InRow RP places cooling next to the heat source, providing predictable, dynamic heat removal for medium, high and ultra-high density deployments. APC will also feature its Proximity Card Rack Lock Kit, a browser-accessible appliance that allows control and management of access privileges. -- CNS Software of Cary, North Carolina will demonstrate Records v2 for Citrix/ICA, a network management and security tool that acts as a network's "security camera." RecordTS is the first remote desktop protocol (RDP) and ICA recording solution designed for Windows Servers with Terminal Services, Citrix or Remote Desktop enabled. RecordTS records everything users, external vendors, and contractors are doing on the Terminal Servers. RecordTS allows companies to review and react to wary behavior and is ideally suited for government agencies, financial institutions, call centers, and other high security environments. -- CPR Tools of LaBelle, Florida will feature its media recovery and security products including BangDisk Security Software and the PSIClone. BangDisk Security Software securely and quickly erases multiple drives at one time without the possibility of recovery, giving owners peace of mind if they choose to donate or pass along any kind of media. The PSIClone is a hand held drive cloning/erasing device with support for PATA and SATA Interfaces. -- eTelemetry of Annapolis, Maryland will show three passive, plug-and- play network appliances: Metron, Locate, and Locate911. Metron tracks departments/employees bandwidth usage and time spent surfing/chatting. Reports on top surfers/chatters and alerts when thresholds are reached or secure tunnel sessions are initiated. Locate dynamically matches people to their use of PCs, IPs, and switch ports, creating a historic record for forensics and compliance audits. Locate alerts when people or PCs move, automating asset tracking and network documentation. Locate911 with 911 Enable is a low cost, plug-and-play VoIP phone tracking and e911compliance solution. -- Gateway, Inc. of Irvine, South Dakota will demonstrate GatewayShield, its identity management and security solution. Almost 1 million computer users have fallen victim to identity theft. GatewayShield is a comprehensive security solution that includes Internet, data and hardware protection to help secure online activity, personal information and property and to combat identity theft. GatewayShield's software protects computers from online hackers and malicious programs, and offers several data protection features including TPM (Trusted Platform Module), a security chip that guards against information exposure. -- Hirsch Electronics of Santa Ana, California will highlight the Hirsch Verification Station RUU-201 for HSPD-12/FIPS 201, a high security solution that addresses the new challenges of Unified Identity Management. The multipurpose Verification Station is the industry's first IP device to deliver identity verification (FIPS-201 and private sector), physical access control system (PACS) enrollment, and door access. It is also the first 4-factor authentication solution to combine a privacy-sensitive ScramblePad(R) (for secure PIN entry), contact and contactless smart card readers, biometric fingerprint reader, and PKI certificate checking. The unit is IP addressable and communicates XML to/from the card management system, PACS, and PKI certificate authorities. -- Microlite Corporation of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania will demonstrate BackupEDGE for Linux. BackupEDGE is a secure data archiving and disaster recovery product for tapes, CD, DVD, REV, NAS, and removable media. Offering file-by-file data protection and a flexible scheduling system, BackupEDGE can safely archive every file, directory, device node, and special file on a system, and verify every byte of data on an archive against the original to ensure the archive is an accurate reflection of your data. BackupEDGE also delivers a flexible and robust encryption system with key management to ensure data protection and security, and bare metal disaster recovery. -- Motorola, Inc. of Schaumburg, Illinois will showcase the Seamless Mobile Broadband Command vehicle, featuring a comprehensive suite of incident command and law enforcement technologies. Even at highway speeds, Motorola MOTOMESH broadband networks provide internet connectivity to use mission critical applications, live video, and remote database access to share critical information rapidly. Applications highlighted include Mobile Video Sharing, Mobile Video Recorder, Motorola Mobile Automated Fingerprint Identification System (Mobile AFIS), and Motorola Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) system. The Seamless Mobile Broadband Command Vehicle will be at prominently parked in booth 2200 at FOSE. -- Kingston Technology Company, Inc. of Fountain Valley, California will discuss its new line of rugged, waterproof USB 2.0 Flash drives featuring 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption to safeguard critical data. The DataTraveler(R) Secure and the DataTraveler(R) Secure Privacy Edition have access control and data protection that enables information to be encrypted and decrypted by authorized users, without the need for special software. The drives lock down after specified, consecutive invalid attempts. Both are available in capacities up to 8GB and feature titanium-coated stainless steel casings that protect against water damage to depths up to four feet. -- PacStar(TM) of Portland, Oregon will exhibit two of its advanced deployable, secure communications systems. The first is PacStar's 5500, which provides full PBX capabilities with secure voice, data and video in a portable, field-hardened case. With its embedded IQ- Core(TM) software, the system is easy to set up, operate and maintain in the field. The second is a new, easily transportable satellite- based system that provides military small teams, first responders and border patrols with reliable voice and data in a small footprint. Both units enable interoperable command-and-control communications capabilities in remote or infrastructure-starved areas. -- WildPackets, Inc. of Walnut Creek, California will demonstrate its OmniAnalysis solutions. The OmniAnalysis platform comprises OmniPeek network analyzers and consoles, as well as distributed OmniEngines, which analyze data at remote locations on the network. Major Wi-Fi infrastructure providers now report that at least 30% of problems reported by Wi-Fi customers are due to interference, from cordless phones, wireless surveillance cameras, Bluetooth devices and microwave ovens. The OmniSpectrum Analyzer reads and interprets this RF activity and identifies the devices that are consuming 802.11 bandwidth on a/b/g networks.

Also on the security forefront at FOSE is the Secure Fortress Theater. Located in booth 355, the Secure Fortress Theater will feature interactive discussions about critical homeland, cyber security, identity management, privacy, and information assurance solutions. Ten different theater presentations will feature topics ranging from a guide to the mandates of the Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 (FISMA) and how your company can best comply with them, to new breakthroughs in homeland and border security, safer travel, and biometrics.

Now in its 31st year, FOSE 2007 will take place on Tuesday - Thursday, March 20 - 22 at the Washington DC Convention Center. Registration is free for military, government, government contractors and educators, with valid ID, and $50 for business and industry.
