Peli Peli, a South African restaurant based in northwest Houston, will host its first-ever Charity Classic Golf Tournament on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at Longwood Golf Club in Cypress, Texas. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Texas Children’s Hospital.
“We are honored to partner with Texas Children’s Hospital, one of the nation’s best pediatric hospitals,” says Paul Friedman, Executive Chef at Peli Peli. “It will be a day of golf and fun with our customers, vendors and members of the restaurant industry and local community, all for a good cause.”
The tournament will commence with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m., followed by a silent auction, awards ceremony and luncheon featuring Peli Peli’s South African cuisine. Registration is $125 per person
or $500 for a team of four and includes green fee, cart, range balls, lunch and gift bag. Deadline for registration is Friday, Oct. 10, 2014.
