Further expansion of international activities
The Implico Group today announced the opening of its first branch office in Romania. This office is now the sixth location worldwide for the international consulting and software company. From Bucharest, the team will service the southeastern European process industry, in particular the downstream oil and gas sector.

Implico already possesses contacts at the highest level with Romanian companies such as Rompetrol, Romania's largest privately-held oil and gas company. Implico's long-standing customer OMV also has a Romanian subsidiary and is active in the local market. Contacts have also been established with potential customers from the region.
In establishing its Romanian office, Implico is following a clear strategy of strengthening its presence in the southeastern European market while further expanding its global network of offices. The new branch office in Bucharest joins the company's headquarters in Hamburg and offices in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Philadelphia (USA), Biel (Switzerland) and London (UK) to become the Implico’s sixth global location.
