Dubai, UAE, January 23, 2014 – Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities management (FM) solutions in the GCC, has announced its successful participation at EcoWASTE, an exhibition dedicated to waste management and sustainable development, held from January 20 to 22, 2014 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. During the show, Imdaad reiterated its commitment towards environmental protection and the adoption of best practices in waste management. The exhibition offered an opportunity for the company to explore cutting-edge technologies in waste management and recycling, showcase its offerings, and network with industry leaders.
Waste management is one of the biggest challenges faced by fast-growing economies such as the UAE. Imdaad believes that social and economic development results in an increase in
waste products and therefore it is crucial to explore innovative and sustainable ways to manage waste. Alongside, there is an increasing need to spread awareness among people about waste management and the benefits of FM. Hosted by Masdar and held in partnership with the Centre of Waste Management, Abu Dhabi, EcoWASTE offered a platform for prominent local and international organizations to address the issues of sustainable disposal and recycling of waste. It saw participation from 50 leading local and international suppliers and over 2,000 regional buyers and professionals. The exhibition, a part of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, was held concurrently with the World Future Energy Summit and the International Water Summit.
Imdaad has gained a strong reputation in the region as an adopter and implementer of the latest FM technologies and practices.
