Described as a night that will go down in the Villa Park record books as one of the greatest football matches ever to be witnessed by the Holte End faithful, the DVD release will provide a timely reminder of what the competition means to the club as Villa go into the final hoping to lift the trophy for the first time since 1996.

Going into the Second Leg of the Carling Cup Semi Final with a slender lead set the stage for what would be an unforgettable night. Blackburn, fully aware that they would need to attack Villa from the start to get back into the tie did just that, but the Villa Park faithful got behind their men and the

players delivered to send Aston Villa to their first final in 10 years, and with goals scored by half the team, this was another statement performance under the guidance of Martin O’Neill.

Included in the DVD release is the full match as well as a Road to Wembley programme and highlights of the 1994 final against Tranmere Rovers, which before now was remembered as the match that had it all.

Released in club stores on Friday 9th February the release is sure to whet the appetite for Carling Cup Final glory on the 28th February.
