Top US TV and radio personality RYAN SEACREST will host tonight's (23MAY06) AMERICAN IDOL finale with his hand bandaged up after falling through a glass table during a meeting.
Seacrest was treated by medics at the scene after severely gashing his hand during an American Idol production meeting yesterday (22MAY06).
Speaking on his Los Angeles radio show this morning (23MAY06), red-faced Seacrest confessed he foolishly sat on the table, which shattered as he leaned back on the glass top.
He said, "All of a sudden (there was) this huge pop and I fall between the framing, into the middle, my legs up in the air in a pool of glass. I felt like the biggest idiot."
