Rapper-turned-actor ICE CUBE is planning to co-produce and star in a movie adaptation of beloved 1970s sitcom WELCOME BACK, KOTTER.
The show ran from 1975 to 1979 and starred comedian Gabriel Kaplan as a former student who returns to his New York high school to teach a group of tearaway kids.
John Travolta, who played one of the unruly pupils, is tipped for a cameo alongside Cube, who will play teacher Kotter.
