Michele M. Peden, who joined the Company earlier this week, is responsible for the Company"s strategic communications plans for both internal and external audiences. In her new role, she will work closely with the senior management team to ensure that

the Company"s overall philosophy, mission and strategic goals are successfully communicated to the numerous IASIS stakeholders.

Prior to joining IASIS, Peden was the vice president of marketing and communications for Franklin, Tennessee-based Spheris, a leading global provider of clinical documentation technology and services. Before Spheris, she was a senior account supervisor at McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations.
Peden has a master of communication and a bachelor of arts in public relations, both from Auburn University.
