2013-03-14 07:28:05 - Turns out Farah Khan actually got her first break in the industry by laying some terms and conditions. She told director, Mansoor Khan that she would get youth crowd for a scene of the film provided he rope her in as assistant director. But fate had other plans in store.

Choreographer turned director, Farah Khan, got extremely nostalgic on the upcoming episode of YehHaiMeriKahani. She fondly recalled her humble beginnings in the film industry and spoke with passion about her challenging but memorable journey in the industry.

Soon after she was made the assistant director, the main choreographer for a certain dance sequence didn’t turn up and Mansoor decided he didn’t want to wait for her and handed over the responsibility to Farah. And, thus began Farah’s successful choreography stint in the industry. But her journey was far from over. For she was all set to make her debut as a Director with the film ‘Main Hoon Na’. This was

the most trying phase for Farah for she was extremely insecure. She had doubts of herself and felt more pressurized because Shahrukh Khan had signed the film. Little did she know that she would go on to become one of the most successful directors of all time?
