MicroBilt, a leader in risk management information for small and medium-sized businesses, announced today that Central Florida Zoo is the next small business to be featured in the Rhett & Link “I Love Local Commercials” series.

The commercial was conceived, written and directed by the Internet Comedy duo Rhett & Link, who have become an Internet sensation by parodying small business commercials featuring actual small businesses.

The video, which “breaks” today on www.ilovelocalcommercials.com : , starts out like a typical nature documentary with traditional bongo music and enthralling pictures of fascinating animals. Moments later, the commercial takes a dramatic turn as “nature calls”, which inevitably does at the zoo. Rhett McLaughlin asserted, "It's safe to say that we haven't built

a fan-base through distasteful or juvenile humor, but once we saw what these animals were capable of, we couldn't resist the urge to go with good old-fashioned potty humor. Sometimes you just have to listen to your inner 8 year-old."

Rhett & Link local commercials confirmed the power of non-traditional video and social media: nearly 5 million viewers have enjoyed the series released last spring that included The Red House Furniture video which has been featured on CNN, NPR, The New York Times, Forbes, Advertising Age and TMZ. “Central Florida Zoo’s history dates back to 1923, meaning they have been providing education and entertainment to Floridians long before Disney, Universal Studios and SeaWorld,” Brian Bradley, EVP of Strategy and Marketing for MicroBilt notes.
