The winning entry, "TotalCare(R) Connect Bed eLearning Course," is a custom designed, self-paced, interactive eLearning tool made for Hill-Rom, Inc. The course is used to teach the Hill-Rom sales force, customer service, and technical support team as well as their existing and prospective customers (registered nurses, non-licensed clinicians, and other hospital staff) how to properly operate the bed. It instructs the audience on how to use the features of the bed to deliver safe and effective care to immobile patients.

The Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards are presented annually by Brandon Hall Research, one of the leading research firms in training and development. The entries were evaluated by independent judges around the world.
