SARASOTA, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 02/14/12 -- Sarasota's premier art event, The Downtown Sarasota Festival of the Arts returns February 18 - 19, Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, produced by Howard Alan Events and hosted by the Downtown Sarasota Alliance. It is consistently ranked as one of the top 100 fine art shows in the country by Sunshine Artist, the nation's leading publication for art and craft shows. A portion of the proceeds from the art show will benefit the Downtown Sarasota Alliance, dedicated to the enrichment of Historic Downtown Sarasota. Held along Main Street in downtown Sarasota, spanning from 5 Points-Selby Park to Orange Avenue you will see all original art -- handmade in America.
