Honda Selects Anaqua’s IAM Solution

Anaqua, Inc., a leading provider of intellectual asset management (IAM) software and services, today announced that Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has entered into a multi-year agreement to use Anaqua’s IAM solution for all aspects of its IP activities, including the management of inventions, patents, trademarks and license agreements.

In conjunction with the relationship with Honda, Anaqua will establish a significant presence in the Japanese market and make a series of strategic investments in product, local client services and business development. Under the terms of the agreement, Anaqua will deliver a Japanese-language version of ANAQUA Enterprise.

Honda is a global manufacturer of automobiles, motorcycles and power equipment with its consolidated revenues of more than $100bn for the year ended on March 31, 2013.

The company has one of the world’s largest R&D budgets and is a leading innovator in many technology areas including energy-efficient vehicles and robotics.

Prior to selecting ANAQUA, the company relied on in-house IP systems.
