His Holiness Dalai Lama return Macleodganj

2008-10-21 06:50:02 - HH Dalai Lama after a successfull, a gall bladder surgery this month, from Delhi hospital on Monday returned to his home at Macleodgan, hundreds of Tibetan lined up along the roads to receive Tibetan spiritual leader."The Dalai Lama returned to his house at Macleodganj this evening," his spokesman here Tenzin Takhla told on Monday PTI.

Tenzin Takhla told to the media that HH Dalai has "fully recovered from his illness" and would start his daily routine of prayers and meeting disciples from tomorrow.

Takhla said hundreds of exiled Tibetans and locals lined up along the road from Dharamsala to Macleodganj to receive the monk.

The Dalai is scheduled to make a trip to Japan by the end of this month.

He was admitted to Sir Gangaram Hospital on October 9 and underwent a laproscopic surgery to remove stones from the gall bladder the next morning.

The legendary figure og Tibetans both political and spritual role model ,73-year old Nobel Peace laureate is scheduled to travel to Japan at the end of this month.

HH Holiness love spending his

mission through traveling, promoting human values, teaching Buddhism and advocating for Tibetan rights.

He was awarded the US the Congressional Gold Medal last year in recognition of his contributions to peace, non-violence, human rights and religious understanding.

He lives in the northern Indian hill town of Dharmsala, where he set up a government-in-exile after fleeing Tibet following a failed uprising by Tibetan people against the Chinese rule in 1959.
