- Henriot Inc., a New York based import company specializing in the distribution, sales and marketing of ultra premium wine and Champagne, announces the appointment of Walter M. Sawitsky as Chief Executive Officer, reporting to Stanislas Henriot.

Sawitsky joins Henriot Inc. with a proven record of
success; he is highly regarded in the wine and spirits industry for his integrity, competence and leadership. He recently retired from Moet Hennessy, USA where as a senior vice president he played a key role in the creation and implementation of Moet Hennessy, USA and its infrastructure.
Prior to MHUSA, he served for 13 years at Clicquot Inc. as senior vice president and CFO and was a major contributor to the development and overall success of Veuve Clicquot. During his term, he also served in general management roles for Pacific Echo Cellars and Newton Vineyard.
His early career development was with Whitbread North America Inc. (Julius Wile and Fleischmann Distilling Co.), where he was ultimately was appointed treasurer of the company.
