Signs and Symptoms of Facial Nerve Neuroma


Facial nerve neuromas may produce weakness or spasms of the muscles on one side of the face. This can lead to difficulty closing the involved eyelid as well as drooling from that side of the mouth.
When the adjacent cranial nerves are affected, individuals may experience loss of hearing, ringing in the ears, dizzyness and vertigo. Large tumors may produce coordination problems, nausea and vomiting.
