ATLANTA, GEORGIA, February 19, 2013 - HAVERTY FURNITURE COMPANIES, INC.,
(NYSE: HVT and HVT.A) announced today that, on February 19, 2013, its board of
directors declared a cash dividend to be paid on the two classes of $1 par value
common stock of the company, payable Tuesday, March 19, 2013 to stockholders of
record at the close of business on Monday, March 4, 2013, at a rate of $0.04 per
share on the outstanding shares of Common Stock and $0.0375 per share on the
outstanding shares of Class A Common Stock. The company has paid a cash
dividend in each year since 1935.
The company will
release fourth quarter and fiscal 2012 financial results on
Monday evening, February 25, 2013. In conjunction with the release, Havertys
will hold a conference call with analysts and institutional investors on
Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. (EST) to discuss the results of its
operations.
