Another lawsuit threat for actor and Marilyn Monroe defender Mark Bellinghaus? Not quite. What could have turned into a battle over public domain rights, was settled out of court, already.
J.K. Rowling is one of the most successful writers to date. And Mark Bellinghaus highly respects her career and work.
By Ernest W. Cunningham
German actor Mark Bellinghaus became the world's leading expert, authority and defender of Marilyn Monroe through his extraordinary collection of her possessions of real hair curlers with Monroe's hair still attached, clothing, jewelry, furniture, books, etcand his incredible knowledge of the American icon's life and legacy. But especially because of his magnificent passion.
Through the battles
he's fighting successfully, to protect her image and her legend. He's consulted by auction houses, he guest-lectures at the University of Southern California on the Hollywood legend and he helped thousands of Marilyn Monroe fans to stay away from being screwed by despicable fraud sellers. He wrote several extreme successful Marilyn-blogs that are recognized as definitive.

He's an activist for the defense of Marilyn Monroe and other aspects, a man with many missions.

Most recently he sank the Queen Mary ocean liner, or rather its fraudulent exhibit, which was named 'Marilyn Monroe-the exhibit' and which was announced in a media spectacle a la Oscars, it was announced that this exhibit would tour around the world and then end up on the auction block or in a museaum!
The estimated $100 million scam will now not tour the world for the next twelve years, and also Great Britain, where J.K. Rowling resides, besides many other countries and continents, are now safe, due to Mark's success in shutting down the fraud show.

Just one of the many notable examples of Mr. Bellinghaus' finds was a plastic box of Clairol hair curlers that were manufactured twelve years after Monroe's death in 1962. A so called 'highlight' of the exhibit--with claimed Monroe hairs attached to the outrageous curlers.
Mark's fight against the Queen Mary exhibit resulted in a class action law suit that was filed on May 26, 2006. The court trial is set for May 7, 2007.
Naturally, class action lawsuits can be very costly. But, always resourceful, Mark began buying or creating domain namesthe addresses by which competitors stake out their claims to prominence on the Internet. It's a lucrative new business spreading like wild fire, with domain names for top companies or top moneymakers bringing millions (at times), when auctioned off. (Mark also owns
TheGeorgeW.Bush.com,
TheAdolfHitler.com,
ThePopeBenedictXVI.com and four hundred others). Bellinghaus: "I was hoping to make some money with these domains, as I really want to support the lawsuit as much as I can. I sold many items of my own collection already. But how could I enjoy my real iems, if the fraudsters are getting away with their ugly try to screw the public and innocent Marilyn Monroe fans and believers in their junk collection."
When the lawyer for J. K. Rowling, Mr. David Engel from Addleshaw Goddard contacted Mark Bellinghaus, asking him to return her domain name, Mark was quick to agree. He has a Weimaraner named Monroe, who is trained as a hospital therapy dog, because he's so good with children. Mark has seen firsthand how they react to the love of an animal, and to the magic of Harry Potter, Ron, Hermione, and all the others. Bellinghaus: 'I always noticed the Harry Potter books in the young cancer patients rooms. It is heart breaking, but if I can make a sick kid happy for five minutes, by dressing up my dog, and leaving the room with the kids smiling, that is worth more than anything else. He encourages dog owners to do the same, as there is always use for some friendly dogs and their owners. He is also visiting nursing homes with his dogs. His little poodle he found outside his home on the street is named 'Marilyn' of course.
Bellinghaus is absolutely impressed by the amazing career of the British writer J.K. Rowling, who recently had some difficulties during the latest flight scare. While booking a flight from LAX to London, she was asked to leave her latest script with other belongings. She refused and almost got in trouble for that.
Rowling is currently writing the seventh (and final, she says) book in the series. Bellinghaus said:'I hope there will be more, as kids are growing up with the magic of Harry Potter and his friends. They relate to him and he gives them hope that the good will always win about the evil! It is in some ways like my mission. Read my "Saga Of Pain" on my website
www.markbellinghaus.com/aboutmark.html there is a bit of Harry Potter hidden in it."
Bellinghaus is happy to retun the domain name, which he just purchased two months ago. He said: "I was really surprised about the email from the publisher of J.K. Rowling, The Christopher Little Literary Agency, and days later I had a thirty minute conversation with their lawyer David Engel, who was very friendly and kind. I had no bad intentions and I am happy to deliver Ms. Rowling an early Christmas present. It is not much, but if that makes her less worried, I am delighted to do it. I feel that she is not only beautiful on the outside, but especially on the inside, too."
Mark Bellinghaus' lawsuit, filed by Marilyn Monroe estate attorney and CMG owner Mark Roesler was dismissed earlier this year. Roesler threatened Bellinghaus with monetary damages, but Bellinghaus wasn't willing to settle or give up that domain,
www.MarkARoesler.com, as he believed that this was one of them most important tools to use, in order to warn the world about the fraud, which he discovered in a twelve months lasting investigation.

He literally worked for thousands of unpaid hours and set an example against the biggest crime in the history of Marilyn Monroe. Shortly after the Mark Roesler VS Mark Bellinghaus lawsuit was dismissed, Mark Roesler himself was suit and named as one of the three defendants in the most important lawsuit in Marilyn Monroe history. I am one of the two plaintiffs--the other plaintiff is Emily Sadjady, a former Marilyn Monroe impersonator, who now owns her own agency for look alikes.
Mark Bellinghaus is currently also looking to set his foot back into acting, as he worked in 26 movie, tv and theater productions. He co-starred with legendary silent movie actress Camilla Horn (who was starting out with Marlene Dietrich), in a Hungarian/German production in 1988. Horn played "Gretchen" in Murnau's "Faust," shot in 1926, when Marilyn Monroe was born. Horn was in her high 80's but still beautiful. She passed away several years ago and Mark kept in touch with her until her death. She was also an upcoming Hollywood star and got a little puppy from Fox president Joseph Schenck, who would also give a little puppy dog to a young starlet Marilyn Monroe, who lived in his Bel Air home at one time in her early Hollywood career. Small world.
Bellinghaus also worked in movies such as "The Name Of The Rose," with Sean Connery and Christian Slater and many other famous actors.
"I really love Maggie Smith. To work with her, that would be my dream come true. She is so amazing and absolutely stunning as an actress. I actually enjoy the Harry Potter movies especially because of her. Maggie Smith rules!"
I could see myself playing a "German Warlock" or something like that. A lot of people are afraid of me anyhow--they have all the reasons to feel that way. I am against the evil powers in this world, which includes fraud. I own two different magic wands that I found while walking my dog at Runyon Canyon--the former estate of Errol Flynn, right up in the Hollywood Hills. I would love to take Ms. Rowling for a hike and show her the magic of that place, the next time she is in Los Angeles."
Mark Bellinghaus is currently looking for an agent/manager. his last manager actually lives in the apartment where Marilyn Monroe lived with her acting coach Natasha Lytess, on 1309 N. Harper Av in West Hollywood.

Born Joanne Kathleen Rowling in 1965, J.K. Rowling spent several years after graduating from college in relative poverty; she worked briefly as a teacher, and, after her divorce, lived off the English public-assistance program while taking care of her baby daughter, Jessica. During her child's naps, Rowling frequented a small English café and penned, unbeknownst to her, what would become a literary and pop-culture phenomenon -- Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone. After winning numerous awards and building up a bank account that would rival those of the world's richest individuals, Rowling allowed Warner Bros., screenwriter Steve Kloves, and director Chris Columbus to produce film adaptations of what fans have coined the "Potterverse." Like the work of J.R.R. Tolkien, whom Rowling lists as one of her inspirations, the Potter series has helped bring the fantasy genre back to mainstream film audiences, and raised the bar in terms of special effects, CGI, and even set and costume design. Though written for children, the books have attracted more than a few adult fans, including the films' star-studded casts -- Emma Thompson, Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, Michael Gambon, and Robbie Coltrane all list the series as one of their favorites. In 2004, Y Tu Mamá También director Alfonso Cuarón left his mark on the film series with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, while the fourth film in the series, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005), was directed by Mike Newell.
