THE WOLF MAN's growl is turning into a whimper - the movie's release date has been pushed back for the fourth time.
The highly-anticipated movie, starring Benicio del Toro as a cursed werewolf, was first slated to hit cinemas in 2007,

but was postponed after a problem in securing a director.
Video auteur Mark Romanek was set to helm the film, but dropped out after stating the $100-million (£75million) budget wasn't enough to finance his vision. Jurassic Park III boss Joe Johnston subsequently took over.
The film was then pushed back to February this year (09) and then November (09), but Universal Studio bosses are reportedly trying to avoid a big office battle with Twilight sequel, New Moon.
Now the supernatural project, which also stars Sir Anthony Hopkins and Emily Blunt, won't be released until February 2010.
Last minute special effects changes, to make del Toro's wolf character walk on four legs rather than two, are cited as the reason for the latest postponement.
