www.gtlaw.com - Robert Fine, a shareholder with international law firm Greenberg Traurig, has been board certified in construction law by The Florida Bar. Fine is co-chair of Greenberg Traurig's ADA, Accessibility, Building and Life Safety Codes national practice group and is based in Miami.
Certified attorneys are the only Florida attorneys allowed to identify or advertise themselves as specialists or experts. Attorneys certified in construction law deal with matters relating to the design and construction of improvements on private and public projects and focus at least 40 percent of their practice in this field.
Certification is the highest level of recognition by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys in the areas of law approved
for certification by the Supreme Court of Florida. Fine received a satisfactory peer review assessment of competence, character, ethics and professionalism, passed a written examination, and satisfied continuing legal education requirements to become certified. Board certification is valid for five years.
In addition to practicing law, Fine is a registered architect and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Fine received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and holds civil engineering, architectural engineering and architecture degrees.
